Farmersville Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our four-doctor mixed animal practice in Texas. The role offers a four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays and negotiable pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting.
• Ability to provide quality patient care and handle distressed patients.
• Knowledge of Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques.
• Excellent communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and assessments.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection.
• Support anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Prepare radiographs and assist with imaging.
• Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care.
