Job summary

Pet Care Clinic of the High Country is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited hospital. You will assist veterinarians, restrain patients, perform blood draws, place IV catheters, and support surgical and dental procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician credentials or significant hands-on Veterinary Assistant experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced veterinary hospital is required.
• Ability to perform blood draws and IV catheter placement; assist with surgeries and dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Safely handle and restrain patients; monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Perform blood draws, collect samples, prepare patients for procedures; post-operative monitoring.
