Qualifications

• Previous veterinary hospital experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and multi-task in a busy environment.
• Employment will require the successful completion of references and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments and treatments.
• Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats.
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples.
• Assist with blood draws and treatments.
• Prepare patients and treatment areas for procedures.
• Support radiology and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and surgical areas.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Review basic care instructions and educate clients.
• Monitor patients and help keep them comfortable throughout their visit.
• Support the team to keep the day moving smoothly.
