CareVet of Chagrin Falls is seeking a motivated Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative team in Chagrin Falls, OH. The role involves patient care, anesthesia, in-house testing, and client communication, with opportunities for farm-animal work and field experiences.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented, with OH-registered technician credentials and 1–2 years’ related experience. We offer a living wage, comprehensive benefits, and a revenue-sharing program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (Ohio) is required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.

Responsabilités

• Check patient medical records and enter treatments and charges.
• Restrain animals for Veterinarian as required.
• Assist with in-patient care and monitor IV fluids.
• Perform anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Dispense medications and feed patients as directed.
• Communicate with owners about medications and precautions.
• Perform lab work: CBC, blood chemistries, urine tests, cultures.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment, assist with imaging and x-rays.
• Take medical histories and vital signs.
