Job summary

VCA Maple Ridge Animal Hospital in Southbury, CT seeks a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our four-doctor team. You will perform exams, anesthesia and monitoring, IV fluid administration, radiology, and client discharge while supporting a respectful, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

  • Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) or technician in training.
  • Willingness to perform multiple roles and support hospital team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams, patient assessment and recovery.
  • Perform anesthesia and monitor during procedures.
  • Administer IV fluids and calculate CRI.
  • Operate radiology and diagnostic imaging tools.
  • Communicate with clients and discharge instructions.

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 / hour

Is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
