BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in NE Portland (Hollywood) is hiring a full-time ER/ICU Technician to become part of our dedicated team.

Our team enjoys collaboration, humor, and a supportive environment, working alongside skilled DVMs across various specialties including Emergency/ICU, Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Our support staff features 4 VTS, experienced CVTs, and an outstanding Teaching Team.

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place peripheral IVCs and advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
• Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
• Collaborate with skilled technicians and assistants to provide advanced medicine
• Mentor and train co-workers
• Provide compassionate nursing to critically ill patients and reunite them with their pet parents
