Job summary

VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Team. This full-time position features a 3-day, 12-hour alternative workweek, Thursday through Saturday, 10 am to 10 pm, at 1648 N Country Club Dr, Mesa.

You will perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and assist in surgeries and patient care.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with relevant credentials.
• Experience in emergency or referral settings preferred.
• Ability to perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients.
• Deliver outstanding client experience to pet parents.
• Assist in emergency procedures and patient monitoring as part of the team.

Schedule: Full-Time, Thursday - Saturday 10 am - 10 pm

3 days, 12-hour alternative workweek

Salary: $24 - $30 per hour
