What You’ll Do

As a Dentistry Veterinary Technician at MVA, you will be a vital part of our dental service—working directly with our specialists, supporting dental procedures, and ensuring excellent patient and client care. In this role, you will:
  • Assist with advanced dental diagnostics and procedures
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia and ensure smooth surgical flow
  • Provide high-quality nursing care including patient prep, post-op monitoring, and discharge
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and coordinate with doctors on treatment plans
  • Communicate empathetically and clearly with clients to provide updates, discharge instructions, and education on at-home dental care
  • Teach and support team members with dentistry skills as needed
  • Collaborate across departments and assist in anesthesia or emergency support if dental duties are complete
  • Support the coordination of daily service schedules, admitting/discharging patients, and performing end-of-shift responsibilities

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following available schedules:
  • Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation
  • Starting at $23/hour

Requirements

We’re seeking Veterinary Technicians with strong technical ability, a heart for patient care, and a passion for professional development. Our ideal candidate has:
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; dentistry experience strongly preferred
  • Anesthesia experience is required
  • Sound technical and medical knowledge, especially in dental protocols and anesthesia
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to teamwork, mentorship, and continuous improvement
