BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!

About the Role: The Veterinary Technician position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize and expand your skills while working alongside talented veterinary professionals.

Schedule: Full-Time; Day shift

Responsibilities:

1. Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia using proper equipment.
2. Triage emergency cases, obtaining vitals such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
3. Perform digital radiography with correct technique and positioning.
4. Understand normal ranges of patient vital signs and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs.
5. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
6. Calculate medical dosages and administer medications appropriately.
7. Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters.
8. Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
9. Mentor and train co-workers with patience and empathy.
