We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Senior Veterinary Assistant (SVA) to join our dedicated Critical Care team. Competitive Pay:

  • RVTs: $30.00- $40.00/hour
  • Senior Veterinary Assistants: $25.00 - $36.00/hour
  • Shift Differentials: +$3/hour for swing shift, +$5/hour for overnight shift.

Hiring Bonuses:

  • Overnight Roles: $8,000 for RVTs, $6,000 for SVAs.
  • Swing Shift Roles: $7,000 for RVTs, $5,000 for SVAs.
  • Day Shift Roles: $6,000 for RVTs, $4,000 for SVAs.

What You’ll Do:
As a critical part of our team, you’ll provide exceptional patient care and technical support in our busy Critical Care department. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Triaging incoming patients and assisting the DVM with assessments, treatments, and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the patient care team to develop and execute treatment plans, ensuring excellent client communication and patient care.
  • Educating clients on home care, medications, and treatment updates for hospitalized patients.
  • Providing advanced monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized patients.
  • Inducing and monitoring anesthesia for procedures and ensuring patient safety.
  • Performing in-house laboratory testing and preparing samples for outside labs.
  • Participating in daily rounds, discussing patient cases, and ensuring seamless communication across shifts.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • For RVTs: A valid California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
  • For Senior Veterinary Assistants: 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and expand your technical skill set.
  • Ability to stay calm and compassionate in high-stress situations.
