BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician for our ICU/Critical Care team. The position offers 3x12s or 4x10s shifts with a pay band of $22.15-$44.91 per hour plus competitive shift differentials and a sign-on of up to $5,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Collaborate with skilled technicians and assistants.

**This position is offering up to a $5,000 sign-on based on experience and credentials**

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is for a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our ICU/Critical Care team!

Schedule

Back-end of the week; 3x12s or 4x10s

Pay

$22.15 - $44.91 / hour + competitive shift differentials

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

We also offer competitive shift differentials for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$5.50 Shift Differential

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.
