Starch Pet Hospital and University West Pet Clinic in Iowa are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17 - $20 based on experience, excellent benefits, and a collaborative environment.

Our hospitals are full-service, equipped with modern technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and dental services. We operate M-F from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a 4-day workweek and approximately one Saturday per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support veterinarians in providing high-quality care and client education.
• Assist during examinations and procedures, including restraint, medication administration, and radiography.
• Perform dental cleanings, administer anesthesia, and monitor patient responses.
• Handle laboratory tests, emergency procedures, and sample collection.
• Prepare animals for surgery and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
