Qualifications
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting.
- Ability to obtain vitals and histories for appointments.
- Strong knowledge of vaccines, medications, and preventative care.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vitals and patient histories for appointments.
- Prepare vaccines and supplies while educating clients on preventative care.
- Review medical treatment plans and discuss payment options.
- Dispense medications with knowledge of common prescriptions.
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters.
- Collect, prepare, and submit laboratory samples.
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist with anesthesia monitoring.
- Safely perform IV inductions and intubate anesthetized patients.
