Fremont Animal Care Center in Idaho is seeking a reliable Veterinary Technician to join our mixed animal practice. You will assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures while caring for both small and large animals.

This role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a compassionate approach as you monitor anesthesia, run lab tests, take radiographs, administer medications, and maintain precise medical records for a dynamic clinic that values growth and education.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician preferred, but not required (certification a plus)
• High school diploma required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostics
• Assist in taking radiographs (X-rays)

• Handle and restrain animals safely
• Maintain accurate medical records
