Job summary
Glenmore Veterinary Hospital in Chester County, PA is hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our 7-doctor team. The role emphasizes collaborative patient care, independence, and strong technical skills.
We offer an evening shift ending around 7:30–8:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts, and one Saturday per month, with a competitive hourly rate of $22–$26 based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Your Full Skillset: Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Be a Leader and Mentor: Guide and support the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow and mentoring others.
- Partner with Clients: Educate pet owners on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
- Contribute to a Positive Culture: Train, provide feedback, and uphold hospital standards.
