Job summary

Northside Veterinary Clinic in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician or License Eligible Veterinary Technician. You will assist veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery, and maintain medical records.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification is required or license eligible in New York.
• Surgical experience is required.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Job description

Salary: $24 - $42 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position averaging 35–40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts. Candidates must have availability Monday through Friday (8:45 AM–6:00 PM) and Saturdays (8:45 AM–4:00 PM).
