Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Norristown, PA is seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant - Radiology & Treatment (Floater) to support the treatment floor and assist radiology operations.

This full-time role offers a starting wage of $19/hour, opportunity to work across departments, CT imaging support, patient care, and a benefits package including medical, 401k, and CE allowances.

Responsabilidades

• Support the treatment floor and assist specialty departments with daily patient care.
• Work across multiple departments throughout the hospital based on daily staffing and patient care needs.
• Assist radiologists in imaging appointments and CT procedures.
• Support I-131 treatment protocols, including patient handling and safety procedures.
• Provide patient care duties such as husbandry, walking dogs, and maintaining cages.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness in treatment and diagnostic areas.

What You’ll Do

• Support the treatment floor and assist specialty departments with daily patient care
• Work across multiple departments throughout the hospital based on daily staffing and patient care needs
• Assist radiologists in imaging appointments
• Operate and assist with CT scan procedures under the guidance of the Radiology team
• Assist with I-131 treatment protocols, including patient handling and safety procedures
• Provide patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning cages
• Restrain and handle canine and feline patients safely and confidently
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness in treatment and diagnostic areas
• Help ensure overall hospital cleanliness and organization
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
