Advanced Veterinary Care in Salt Lake City is seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our growing overnight team. This entry‑level role supports veterinary technicians, doctors, and hospital operations in a fast‑paced emergency and specialty hospital.

You will assist with patient restraint, room cleaning, stocking supplies, basic patient care, client communication, and infection control to help deliver exceptional care and grow professionally in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with animals is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a team.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians and doctors with patient restraint and handling.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels between patients.
• Stock hospital supplies and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Provide basic patient care such as walking, feeding, and monitoring animals.
• Help with laundry, instrument cleaning, and sterilization.
