You will assist with patient handling, room cleaning, supply stocking, and basic care such as walking, feeding, and monitoring. The position offers growth opportunities within AVC and Thrive Pet Healthcare, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in animal care.

Qualifications

• Prior animal handling experience required.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced hospital.

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians and doctors with patient restraint and handling
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels between patients
• Stock hospital supplies and maintain clean, organized workspaces
• Provide basic patient care such as walking, feeding, and monitoring animals
• Help with laundry, instrument cleaning, and sterilization
• Support patient intake, discharge, and communication with clients as needed
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and adhere to infection control protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinary technicians and doctors with patient restraint and handling
