Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous veterinary experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with tasks including restraint, medication administration, and sample collection.
• Maintain a clean clinic environment by disinfecting surfaces and cleaning kennels.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Greet and assist clients, making them feel welcome.
• Escort clients and pets to exam rooms and collect medical history.
• Provide support during medical procedures, set up equipment, and monitor well-being.
• Prepare and label laboratory samples following protocols.
• Assist with radiography by positioning animals and operating equipment.
• Educate clients on medication administration and preventive care.
• Keep accurate patient care records.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Participate in maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
