Qualifications

• At least six months of prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician.
• Veterinary Technician licensure is preferred.
• Comfortable with in-house hematology and chemistry equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class care for patients and maximize clinic productivity.
• Assist veterinarians with examinations and animal handling.
• Perform diagnostic imaging such as x-rays and ultrasound.
• Maintain and update medical charts and administer medications.
• Communicate basic diagnoses to pet parents.
