Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant experience of 3 years.
• Ability to place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
• Professional communication with clients and team.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
• Knowledge of hospital services and species treated.
• Familiarity with hospital equipment and software.
• Commitment to client education and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with gathering patient histories.
• Establish and carry out treatment plans.
• Communicate pertinent information about patient care to clients.
• Maintain hospital and patient cleanliness using aseptic technique and PPE.
• Frequently lift and move patients up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
