We are compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to client and patient care. A good work ethic and sense of humor are mandatory.

No weekends. Ideal candidates have at least one year of veterinary technician assistant or animal handling experience, are computer savvy, and possess strong communication skills.

Nationally recognized Integrative Veterinary Hospital located on the Connecticut/Westchester County border in Northern Westchester is looking for an experienced Technician Assistant AND a Veterinary Assistant. We are compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to client/patient care/service. A good work ethic and sense of humor are mandatory. No weekends.

The ideal candidate is capable of multi‑tasking, managing a busy schedule, is computer savvy, and has good communication skills. Prior veterinary technician assistant and animal handling experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities and Training

Smith Ridge Veterinary Center provides a combination of conventional and complementary veterinary medicine for healthy and ill companion pets for over 40 years. You will be taught and guided through our unique integrative therapies while working with our friendly team and dedicated clients and companions.

Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Experience / Animal Handling: 1 year
• Computer savvy

Work Details

Job Type: Full‑time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8–10 hour shift (Morning, Day, and Evening shifts; same schedule weekly). No weekends.

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Location: In person.
