Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience or training.
• RVT in Wisconsin preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patient medical records and enter data.
• Take medical histories and vital signs.
• Admit and discharge patients.
• Process prescription refills and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Monitor hospital patients and log vital signs.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Restrain and assist doctor during exams and procedures.
• Cross-train to assist in all departments.

• Restraining and assisting the doctor during exams, treatments, and procedures.*

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Veterinary Technicians in Wisconsin are preferred, not necessarily required. We are open and willing to train the right candidate.
