Job summary

Elite Veterinary Specialists in Casselberry, FL is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians with patient care, exams, treatments, and client communication. The Role

As a part‑time Veterinary Technician Assistant at our Casselberry clinic, you’ll support our veterinarians and technicians with patient care, exams, treatments, surgeries, and client communication. You’ll be part of challenging and rewarding cases, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their owners while gaining hands‑on experience in the specialized world of veterinary ophthalmology.

What You’ll Do

• Support veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgeries
• Administer medications under supervision
• Assist with lab work and inventory
• Clean and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and other hospital spaces
• Help with reception duties and provide excellent customer service to pet owners

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training or experience in veterinary care, either on the job or formal
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (more with assistance)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, including housekeeping and reception duties
• A passion for animal care and enjoyment of a fast‑paced, supportive environment
