Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant with hands-on veterinary hospital experience to join our busy team. We provide high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment and value teamwork, reliability, and compassionate client service.

You will assist veterinarians with examinations and treatments, restrain dogs and cats, draw blood, run in-house diagnostics, prepare and administer medications and vaccines,

Competenze

• Prior veterinary hospital experience required.
• Excellent technical skills including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and lab techniques.

What You'll Do:

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatments

• We're looking for someone who already has hands on veterinary hospital experience and is comfortable working in a clinical environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant/Technician/Nurse required
• Valid Veterinary Technician/Nurse certification, a plus (but not required)
• Excellent technical skills, including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory techniques
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal care
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
