Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CVT, RVT, or LVT certification preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and veterinarians with exams, treatments, surgical and dental procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Patient care, feeding, walking, giving medications and general care.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Maintenance, cleaning, and laundry responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00 hourly based on experience
