Garden State Veterinary Specialists Eatontown seeks a Veterinary Technician to join our anesthesia team. You’ll support anesthesia procedures, monitor patients, and assist with critical care tasks in a multi-specialty hospital.

Ideal candidates are CVT/LVT/RVT or have 2+ years of experience with VTS valued. We offer sign-on, DailyPay, comprehensive insurance, 401(k), PTO and CE support.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT/RVT preferred or 2+ years of experience (VTS highly valued).
• Comprehensive understanding of anesthesia, sedation and related procedures.
• Setting up CRIs and performing medical calculations.
• Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy.
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate care.
• Radiology positioning and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up CRIs and calculate medications for anesthesia procedures.
• Place IV catheters and manage ongoing IV fluid therapies.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate care.
• Collect diagnostic samples and maintain medical records.
• Position patients for radiographs with proper safety protocols.
• Assist with blood/plasma transfusions as needed.

About You

• CVT/LVT/RVT preferred or 2+ years of experience (VTS highly valued)

Compensation & Schedule

• Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 for Full-Time Veterinary Technicians and $6,000 for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians
