Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year veterinary experience required.

Responsibilities

• Room clients and patients, take medical history and temperature, draw blood, vaccinate and medicate, restrain patients, assist veterinarian on routine services.
• Consult with clients on medications and services; answer questions and discuss basic concerns by phone or in person.
• Assist during surgeries, monitor anesthesia, perform teeth cleanings, take radiographs, place catheters, assist with ultrasounds and emergencies.
• Help with hospital upkeep such as cleaning kennels and answering phones as needed.
