Job summary

PetVet Care Centers in Manchester, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to support hospital operations and deliver exceptional patient care. The role involves assessing animal needs, performing examinations, assisting in surgery, and maintaining medical records within a culture that prioritizes pets and their families.

You will work Monday-Friday, 7AM-5:30PM, 4 days a week, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, parental leave, a 401(k), and career development

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must hold LVMT/CVT/LVT/RVT license.
• Experience in veterinary settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by evaluating animal needs and performing exams.
• Assist during surgery and nursing duties; maintain medical records.
• Obtain, verify, and manage medications and vaccines.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care plans.
• Maintain clean facilities, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory.
• Support hospital operations and contribute to a culture of care.
