Qualifications

• Veterinary technician experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong client education and communication skills.
• Ability to stay professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to patients.
• Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain patients while prioritizing comfort and well-being.
• Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction.
• Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and recovery as appropriate to your skill level.
• Educate clients and communicate veterinary recommendations clearly.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Build positive relationships with clients, teammates, and hospital leadership.
