Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.
• Restrain patients safely, including the occasional cat rodeo.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Educate clients on their pets’ care, and listen as they explain why their dog, cat, bird, or rat is the best one that has ever lived.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
