Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience.
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of New Mexico (preferred).
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring.
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique; anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Dental prophylaxis and radiography; venipuncture and IV catheter placement.

• Provide high-quality nursing care and patient advocacy
• Assist with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Support with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
• Educate clients and support strong client relationships
