Thrive Pet Healthcare in Cedar Park is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our general practice. You will support wellness and sick visits, diagnostic testing, surgery, anesthesia monitoring, patient recovery, and client education.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of clinical veterinary experience, Texas LVT credential preferred, and proficiency in venipuncture, IV placement, sample collection, safe restraint, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on veterinary clinical experience in a general practice or hospital setting.
• Texas LVT credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support wellness and sick appointments; assist with surgery and anesthesia monitoring.
• Obtain medical histories; record vital signs; maintain low-stress handling and clean workspace.
• Assist with procedures, anesthesia induction/recovery, intubation, and client education.
