Job summary

Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in Wildwood, MO is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. The ideal candidate will have animal care experience and strong client communication skills to help improve the lives of pets and their owners.

We offer full-time schedules with open availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years veterinary experience.
• Ability to safely and compassionately handle animals.
• Knowledge of common disease states and status changes.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate care instructions and status updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean and stocked.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Salary

$26.00 - $34.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus!

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Our hospital operates 7 days a week, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Candidates must have open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Reliability and a team-oriented attitude are a must. Shift differentials are offered for eligible overnight and weekend hours.
