Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with physical exams and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical preparation.
• Perform basic dental, radiology, lab tasks and patient handling.
• Prepare medications and manage patient recovery.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals and educate clients.

About Our Practice

VCA Wexford Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice established over 65 years ago. Our compassionate team of over 40 staff members is committed to helping our patients live long, happy, and healthy lives with their families. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for cats and dogs in Wexford, Cranberry Township, McCandless, Hampton Township, Sewickley, Mars, Gibsonia, and the surrounding areas. Since 1975, VCA Wexford has been proudly accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Many of our team members have earned recognition as Cat Friendly Professionals by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and are Fear Free Certified to ensure a positive veterinary experience for all patients and their owners.
