Hunter Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary technician assistant to join our team. Our hospital offers full-service, comprehensive medical care, routine and advanced surgical procedures, and dental care for dogs and cats. We emphasize affordable preventative care and compassionate, personalized service to families. We serve residents of West Valley City, Magna, Kearns, Taylorsville, West Jordan, Murray, and other parts of the West Salt Lake Valley.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Assisting the veterinary team with patient care, including blood draws, IV catheter placement, client education, medication administration and education, anesthetic monitoring and recovery, dentistry, radiology, lab tests, specimen preparation, surgical instrument sterilization, animal restraint, prescription refills, and facility cleaning.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation. Background checks and drug screening may be required. We offer competitive pay starting at $16.00/hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Open Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5:30 pm, and Saturdays 8 am - 12:30 pm. Closed Sundays. No on-call shifts. Job types: Full-time or Part-time. Pay based on experience.
