Cats Limited - Veterinary Technician

Cats Limited is looking for a Veterinary Technician who doesn't just tolerate cats - you genuinely enjoy them, understand them, and want to keep building a career around feline medicine.

We are a feline-only, AAHA-accredited hospital in West Hartford, Connecticut focused entirely on feline medicine, behavior, handling, and creating a low‑stress experience for both cats and their people. This is not a mostly cats general practice – our entire hospital is designed around how cats experience veterinary care.

From feline-friendly handling and behavior support to advanced diagnostics, radioactive iodine therapy, and second‑opinion consultations, our team is deeply invested in continually improving the level of medicine and experience we provide.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) preferred but not required
  • Prior leadership or management experience required
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Diagnostics (Radiographs, ECG, Blood Pressure, Venipuncture)
  • Placing IV catheters
  • Administering treatments
  • Assisting and monitoring patients during surgery
  • Providing emergency and critical care to patients
  • Employment will require the successful completion of references and background check
