Job summary

VCA Lakota Hills Animal Hospital in West Chester, OH is seeking a Veterinary Technician for a part-time role, with 10-hour shifts. You’ll support patient care across surgery, dentistry, and daily exams, while building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.
• Support appointments by obtaining histories, restraining patients, and assisting the DVM during exams.
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments.

The Role

As a Veterinary Technician you’ll play a key role in supporting patient care and client experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who especially enjoys surgery and dentistry while also wanting a well-rounded role that includes appointments, diagnostics, and everyday patient care.
