VCA Old River Animal Hospital in Tracy, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician for a full-time role. The clinic is AAHA-accredited and staffed by two doctors, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Location: 520 W 11th St, Tracy, CA 95376. Schedule: FT, M-F days. Compensation: $22-$33 per hour. Join a supportive team focused on quality patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a registered veterinary technician is preferred.
• AAHA-accredited practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Prepare for and assist in surgery.
• Conduct dental procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment and take images.
• Carry out laboratory tests and sample handling.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Support patient recovery and post-op care.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
