Veterinary Technician

Full-time. Animal Drs of South Tampa is a friendly, professional, and well-educated veterinary hospital with an amazing staff. We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Our clinic operates at a fast pace but we make it a point to keep the environment as low-stress as possible. We focus on excellent patient care and client interaction with high-quality veterinary care. We strive to help our team members find a balance between life and work. We offer opportunities for our team members to continue to further their education in this growing field of veterinary medicine.

We are seeking a candidate with experience loading rooms and working closely with our veterinarians and the other team members. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of client education, high levels of animal care, be able to place IV caths, be proficient in blood draws, know how to run in‑house labs, assist with x-rays, monitor hospitalized patients, give SQ fluids, load rooms, take history, do initial workups, and assist the other team members in daily tasks. They will know how to keep an exam room clean and stocked, be able to multi‑task efficiently and effectively, and be able to manage their time appropriately.
