Job description

Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant!

  • Role: Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $22 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Schedule: Four ten-hour shifts. Monday-Saturday, 8am-6pm

Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and outgoing team. We are a six-doctor, AAHA-accredited clinic in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our team works between our two practices: our main clinic and our AAFP Gold Certified cat clinic. Our stand-alone cat clinic, where we have dedicated feline-only Doctors, is one of the many things that makes us unique. We routinely see various exotic patients, as one of our doctors is passionate about caring for them. We are committed to practicing Cat Friendly and Fear Free medicine and we ensure all staff members become certified in these techniques. We strive to offer progressive medicine, help our team grow in their respective roles, and promote a supportive and fun work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Discussing treatment plan and cost with owners
  • Performing various diagnostics and treatments
  • Educating clients on at-home care and medication
  • Helping keep our clinic clean and running smoothly

Depending on experience, responsibilities may extend to working on our surgery team assisting with monitoring anesthesia and performing dentals procedures.
