Cedar Brook Animal Hospital is on the hunt for an experienced, reliable, & dedicated full time or Part Time veterinary technician to join our fantastic team. Hospital Hours

  • Monday: 8a-5p
  • Tuesday-Friday: 8a-7p
  • Saturday: 8a-12p

What is expected:

  • Positive attitude
  • Assist the veterinarian throughout the day with appointments and procedures
  • Cat/dog handling/restraint
  • Client communication & education
  • Obtaining medical history
  • Subcutaneous fluid administration
  • Constantly cleaning and preparing for the next appointment
  • Preparing medications
  • Celebrate birthdays, new babies, anniversaries, and other life events because they are important!
  • Performing radiographs & in house laboratory procedures (Idexx equipment)
  • Phlebotomy & IV catheter placement
  • Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Tolerate puppy kisses and kitty headbutts
  • Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.
  • Be a part of monthly meetings to encourage open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive approach always, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Possess the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes.
