Job summary

New Frontier Animal Medical Center is seeking veterinary technicians for a 24/7 operation in San Francisco. We have multiple openings across overnight and day shifts with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include client history intake, vaccine administration, blood draws, catheter placement, radiography, monitoring, anesthesia support, and drug calculations. Weekend availability and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume veterinary environment preferred.
• Ability to perform accurate medical histories and vaccine administration.
• Proficient in venipuncture, catheter placement, and patient restraint.
• Familiar with Avimark and IDEXX software systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient history intake and vaccine administration.
• Assist with blood draws, catheter placement, monitoring, sterilization and radiography.
• Restrain animals and assist with facility maintenance.
• Perform pharmacological drug calculations as needed.

Job description

We have recently opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we are currently seeking to fill multiple veterinary technician positions. (Overnight and Day):

Shifts looking to fill:

7:00 am to 5:30 pm

12:00 pm to 10:30 pm

4:00 pm to 2:30 am

Required Technical Skills:
