Qualifications

  • Two years of veterinary experience required.
  • Ability to perform wellness care and vaccines.
  • Familiarity with radiography, dentistry, and pharmacology basics.
  • Strong client education and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain complete patient histories and maintain treatment records.
  • Assist wellness care, vaccines, and preventive medicine protocols.
  • Administer and dispense medications as directed.
  • Perform pharmacology calculations accurately.
  • Assist with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and patient care.
  • Perform dental procedures and support dental treatments.
  • Assist with digital radiography and diagnostic procedures.
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement; Fear Free handling where possible.
  • Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventive care.
  • Support daily hospital operations while delivering quality patient care.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
