Job summary

Kenyhaven Animal Hospital in Rockville, MD is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join a compassionate, team-driven hospital dedicated to exceptional patient care. The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, and a salary negotiable based on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed
  • Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide attentive nursing care during patient recovery
  • Perform diagnostic testing and assist with laboratory procedures
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areas
  • Safely handle and restrain patients using appropriate techniques
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients and educate them about their pets’ care
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
