What You'll Do
We’re seeking a tech confident and experienced in:
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Understanding vaccine protocols and medical terminology
- Performing ear cytologies
- Operating in-house lab equipment (Zoetis)
- Managing lab work including fecals, urinalysis, and FNAs
- Supporting patient care and treatment with attention to detail

Responsibilities
Major Duties include:
- In-patient medical care: administering medications, assisting with treatments, diagnostics, monitoring, IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab tests, IV fluids, feeding, walking patients
- Surgical support: prepping, induction, maintenance, monitoring, recovery, sterilizing equipment
- Dentistry: patient dental care, ultrasonic cleaning, assisting with dental surgeries
- Radiology: positioning patients, assisting with radiographs, emailing images
- Laboratory work: sample collection, preparation, testing, recording results
- Administrative tasks: invoicing, discharge instructions, client education, appointment management, inventory control, medication dispensing
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in noisy, animal-filled environments
- Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity
