What You'll Do

We’re seeking a tech confident and experienced in:

• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Understanding vaccine protocols and medical terminology
• Performing ear cytologies
• Operating in-house lab equipment (Zoetis)
• Managing lab work including fecals, urinalysis, and FNAs
• Supporting patient care and treatment with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Major Duties include:

• In-patient medical care: administering medications, assisting with treatments, diagnostics, monitoring, IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab tests, IV fluids, feeding, walking patients
• Surgical support: prepping, induction, maintenance, monitoring, recovery, sterilizing equipment
• Dentistry: patient dental care, ultrasonic cleaning, assisting with dental surgeries
• Radiology: positioning patients, assisting with radiographs, emailing images
• Laboratory work: sample collection, preparation, testing, recording results
• Administrative tasks: invoicing, discharge instructions, client education, appointment management, inventory control, medication dispensing

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in noisy, animal-filled environments
• Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity
