Job summary

Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts in Newton, MA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician with anesthesia skills to join our ophthalmology team. This role combines diagnostic work, client communication, and high-quality patient care in a specialty setting.

You will perform pre-surgical diagnostics, assist with surgeries, provide post-operative care, and participate in case rounds with veterinarians.

The Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts, the first stand‑alone practice for veterinary ophthalmology in the region, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician with anesthesia skills to join our talented team.

As a member of the ophthalmology team, in addition to traditional Vet Tech duties, you will be actively involved in:

Requirements
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Anesthesia Skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
  • The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
