Feline Only vet practice looking for enthusiastic cat lover to join our team. Seeking a Part Time/Full Time Licensed Veterinary Technician that has a positive attitude and strong communication skills and enjoy working with people and their cats. Must be reliable and honest. Experience in the veterinary field required.

Qualifications

Providing general nursing care Examining cats and checking vitals in preparation for the Veterinarian Taking X-rays of cats Administering first aid for emergencies Administering medication and treatments Monitoring cats under anesthesia Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records. Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment .

Must have: Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
