About You
As a Vet Tech, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Obtain patient history and provide client education
  • Maintains animal records
  • Assist doctors with appointments and surgeries
  • Help with the check in/check out process
  • Restraining pets
  • Administer medications and vaccinations
  • Place IV catheters
  • Perform blood draws
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Maintain supplies and equipment
  • Completes laboratory tests and diagnostics
  • Maintains safe and clean environment
  • Performs any other duties as assigned
Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • Veterinary technician licensure preferred, not required
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, doctors, management, and hospital personnel
  • Is self-motivated
  • Able to multitask
  • Has a desire to help animals and people
  • Must have attention to detail
